Introduction to the module
This hands-on training enables participants to master the art of entrepreneurial project management. It begins with an immersion in the entrepreneurial mindset, then explores the design of systematic innovation in enterprises. In this course you will explore various sources of innovation, to implement design thinking, open innovation, and related processes, as well as to lead and manage innovation. This hands-on course involves a collaborative “project” during which teams apply these tools and methods to develop innovative concepts, while discovering the essential role that leadership and culture play in managing high-performing, innovative organizations.

À l’issue de ce module, les étudiants seront capables de :
Mobiliser les principes de l’état d’esprit entrepreneurial pour développer et gérer des projets innovants.
Appliquer des méthodes et outils d’innovation, notamment le design thinking et l’innovation ouverte, pour transformer une idée en projet structuré.
Planifier et gérer un projet entrepreneurial, en définissant ses objectifs, ses étapes clés, ses ressources et ses contraintes.
Évaluer collectivement la faisabilité et l’avancement d’un projet afin de formuler une décision argumentée de type Go/No Go.

Pedagogical methods
Approche par la pratique, l'expérience et des exposés oraux. Les cours sont répartis entre demi promo et quart de promo.
La partie pratique consiste à réaliser un projet de A à Z tout au long de l’année en groupe de plusieurs apprenants.
Le projet peut avoir différentes finalités laissées au choix du groupe d’apprenants :
• Caritatif pour venir en aide à des associations d’utilité publique
• Entrepreneurial pour être confronté aux prémices d’une création de société
• Audiovisuel pour structurer la création de contenu
Ces types de projets ne sont pas exhaustifs et une personne externe au cours (projet avec client ou partenaire externe) peut-être présente pour la conception du projet.
Le programme de ce module est dispensé par des travaux pratiques/travaux dirigés, l’utilisation de ressources en ligne (vidéos, web, applications).
Evaluation and grading system and catch up exams
Assessment is based on the student’s attitude and commitment to the module, the learning process, and the project development:
Final grade = participation / activities + assignment(s) + final presentation
60% of the grading will be made on an individual basis, specifically the participation and assignments, whilst the group work will account for 40% of the final grade.
In the event of a failing grade, a make-up assignment is organized; it consists of an assignment analysing their entrepreneurial project and accounts for 100% of the final grade.
Module Policies
Professor-Student Communication
● The professor will contact the students through their school email address (IMT-BS/TSP) and the Moodle portal. No communication via personal email addresses will take place. It is the student responsibility to regularly check their IMT-BS/TSP mailbox.
● Students can communicate with the professor by emailing him/her to his institutional address. If necessary, it is possible to meet the professor in his office during office-hours or by appointment.
Students with accommodation needs
If a student has a disability that will prevent from completing the described work or require any kind of accommodation, he may inform the program director (with supporting documents) as soon as possible. Also, students are encouraged to discuss it with the professor.
Class behavior
● Out of courtesy for the professor and classmates, all mobile phones, electronic games or other devices that generate sound should be turned off during class.
● Students should avoid disruptive and disrespectful behavior such as: arriving late, leaving early, careless behavior (e.g. sleeping, reading a non-course material, using vulgar language, over-speaking, eating, drinking, etc.). A warning may be given on the first infraction of these rules. Repeated violators will be penalized and may face expulsion from the class and/or other disciplinary proceedings.
● The tolerated delay is 5 minutes. Attendance will be declared on Moodle during these 5 minutes via a QR code provided by the teacher at each course start.
● Student should arrive on time for exams and other assessments. No one will be allowed to enter the classroom once the first person has finished the exam and left the room. There is absolutely no exception to this rule. No student can continue to take an exam once the time is up. No student may leave the room during an examination unless he / she has finished and handed over all the documents.
● In the case of remote learning, the student must keep his camera on unless instructed otherwise by the professor.
Honor code
IMT-BS is committed to a policy of honesty in the academic community. Conduct that compromises this policy may result in academic and / or disciplinary sanctions. Students must refrain from cheating, lying, plagiarizing and stealing. This includes completing your own original work and giving credit to any other person whose ideas and printed materials (including those from the Internet) are paraphrased or quoted directly. Any student who violates or helps another student violate academic behavior standards will be penalized according to IMT-BS rules.
