Introduction to the module
Entreprenreurial project management in the workplace is a skill that is essential throughout one’s career. The course aims to teach the methods and challenges involved in effective project management in the professional world with a specific subject area in focus. The student will learn:
• How to plan a project
• How to create a budget
• How to communicate about a project
• How to work as part of a team.
This course builds on Module PRO 1201 from Semester 1 and develops skills through increased hands-on practice.
Course Learning objectives
La gestion de projets entrepreneuriaux en milieu professionnel est une compétence indispensable tout au long d’une carrière. Ce cours a pour objectif d’enseigner les méthodes et les défis liés à une gestion de projet efficace dans le monde professionnel, en se concentrant sur un domaine spécifique. L’étudiant apprendra :
• Comment créer un projet entrepreneurial
• Comment établir un budget
• Comment communiquer sur le projet
• Comment travailler en équipe.
Ce cours s'appuie sur le module PRO 1201 du premier semestre et permet de développer les compétences grâce à davantage d'exercices pratiques.

Pedagogical methods
Approche par la pratique et l'expérience et des exposés oraux avec dispense des cours en demi-promo et quart de promo.
La partie pratique consiste à réaliser un projet de A à Z tout au long de l’année en groupe de plusieurs apprenants.
Le projet peut avoir différentes finalités laissées au choix du groupe d’apprenants :
• Caritatif pour venir en aide à des associations d’utilité publique
• Entrepreneurial pour être confronté aux prémices d’une création de société
• Audiovisuel pour structurer la création de contenu
Ces types de projets ne sont pas exhaustifs et une personne externe au cours (projet avec client ou partenaire externe) peut-être présente pour la conception du projet.
Le programme de ce module est dispensé par des travaux pratiques/travaux dirigés, l’utilisation de ressources en ligne (vidéos, web, applications).
Evaluation and grading system and catch up exams
Assessment takes place in three stages.
• First, various individual assignments are given throughout the year for ongoing assessment.
• Next, students must compile a portfolio documenting the entire process of their project.
• Finally, at the end of the year, students must present their project and explain how they managed it to a panel.
At least 60% of the grades will be awarded individually. A maximum of 40% will be awarded for teamwork.
100% Final Grade = Oral Defense Grade + Written Report (adjusted based on class participation and effort).
In the event of failure, a make-up exam is administered; it will consist of a take-home assignment which provides an analysis of the project and will account for 100% of the final grade, adjusted based on the student’s attitude and behavior.
Module Policies
Professor-Student Communication
● The professor will contact the students through their school email address (IMT-BS/TSP) and the Moodle portal. No communication via personal email addresses will take place. It is the student responsibility to regularly check their IMT-BS/TSP mailbox.
● Students can communicate with the professor by emailing him/her to his institutional address. If necessary, it is possible to meet the professor in his office during office-hours or by appointment.
Students with accommodation needs
If a student has a disability that will prevent from completing the described work or require any kind of accommodation, he may inform the program director (with supporting documents) as soon as possible. Also, students are encouraged to discuss it with the professor.
Class behavior
● Out of courtesy for the professor and classmates, all mobile phones, electronic games or other devices that generate sound should be turned off during class.
● Students should avoid disruptive and disrespectful behavior such as: arriving late, leaving early, careless behavior (e.g. sleeping, reading a non-course material, using vulgar language, over-speaking, eating, drinking, etc.). A warning may be given on the first infraction of these rules. Repeated violators will be penalized and may face expulsion from the class and/or other disciplinary proceedings.
● The tolerated delay is 5 minutes. Attendance will be declared on Moodle during these 5 minutes via a QR code provided by the teacher at each course start.
● Student should arrive on time for exams and other assessments. No one will be allowed to enter the classroom once the first person has finished the exam and left the room. There is absolutely no exception to this rule. No student can continue to take an exam once the time is up. No student may leave the room during an examination unless he / she has finished and handed over all the documents.
● In the case of remote learning, the student must keep his camera on unless instructed otherwise by the professor.
Honor code
IMT-BS is committed to a policy of honesty in the academic community. Conduct that compromises this policy may result in academic and / or disciplinary sanctions. Students must refrain from cheating, lying, plagiarizing and stealing. This includes completing your own original work and giving credit to any other person whose ideas and printed materials (including those from the Internet) are paraphrased or quoted directly. Any student who violates or helps another student violate academic behavior standards will be penalized according to IMT-BS rules.
