Pedagogical methods

The course is based on full academic immersion within an international partner institution. Students follow a study program defined in agreement with the program's Director, allowing them to acquire disciplinary knowledge in a global context. Learning is based on adaptability to local teaching methods, interaction with students from diverse backgrounds, and the validation of academic credits (ECTS) certifying the successful completion of the curriculum.

Evaluation and grading system and catch up exams

The international exchange semester is based on the validation of 30 ECTS credits (or equivalent). Students are assessed according to the grading system of the partner institution. Validation of the semester is conditional upon the successful completion of the required credits.
In case of failure, students may benefit from resit opportunities (where possible) or any other arrangements provided by the host institution.

Module Policies

This module is mandatory for all students. Application timelines and destination assignment procedures are detailed on the International Moodle platform. Students formally commit to respecting the current mobility charter. During the study abroad period, students are subject to the internal regulations of the host partner institution and must strictly comply with rules regarding attendance, behavior, and academic integrity. Additionally, students must adhere to the administrative deadlines set by IMT-BS, particularly for the validation of the Learning Agreement.
