Course Learning objectives
By the end of this course, each student will be able to apply appropriate legal reasoning to solve simple practical cases involving legal issues related to digital law, with a particular focus on e-commerce law.

Pedagogical methods
Le cours est donné en mode hybride (présentiel/distanciel). Il repose sur une approche de cours semi-inversé. Les notes de cours sont données aux étudiants. Le professeur reprenant en classe sur les notions principales à travers des exemples et des cas pratiques (audit juridique de sites web ou d'application par ex en classe en direct.).
The course is delivered in a hybrid format (face-to-face and online). It is based on a partially flipped classroom approach. Course materials are provided to students in advance, allowing classroom sessions to focus on the key concepts through practical examples and case studies.
The instructor revisits the main topics during class by using real-world illustrations and hands-on exercises, such as live legal audits of websites or mobile applications conducted in class.
Evaluation and grading system and catch up exams
The final grade for this module is based on at least two individual assessments per student, combining continuous assessment and a final written examination.
The continuous assessment accounts for 20% of the final grade and consists of a multiple-choice questionnaire (MCQ). The final examination accounts for 80% of the final grade and consists of an individual open-book written case study. Students may use printed materials only; computers, mobile phones, and other electronic devices are not permitted.
The instructor also takes into account students’ active participation throughout the course, particularly their interactions with the instructor, with the expectation that students demonstrate a proactive approach to learning.
Students who fail the module may sit a resit examination (written, in-class examination). The resit follows the format of a practical case study combined with questions assessing the theoretical aspects of the course. The resit grade constitutes 100% of the final module grade and is capped at 10/20 (50%), except where the student was absent from the initial final examination for a duly justified reason.
