Introduction to the module
Module 1, entitled “Public Action and Governance,” is structured around the search for meaning in public action and the principles of social justice. It examines and questions how the sector’s fundamental values are put into practice, and highlights the aims and limitations of governance. It also explores in greater depth the specific features of governance within nonprofit organizations, as well as the challenges related to societal and environmental transitions.
