Introduction to the module

n a world where the Internet and technology predominate, business competition is increased, business models are turned upside down: it is time for Digital Transformation. This transition is not new, but it becomes indispensable, especially for so-called "traditional" companies, which are not born in the digital culture. Jobs, products and services will be transformed. Management, production and organization are also affected. In particular, the activities of managers will be modified, especially in the area of decision making, thanks to Business Intelligence tools and Artificial Intelligence tools. Often mentioned for the commercial or marketing aspects, digitalization affects the professional activity as a whole, and at all levels. Technology and innovation, production and distribution of products and services, organization, employees. The levers of digital transformation are numerous and the integration of digital has its interest in each of the dimensions and services of the company. The industry of the future responds to an increasingly personalized demand for access to a service rather than to the possession of a good, to increased societal aspirations for consumption and ethics. This course will help you understand the impacts of the Digital Transformation for the industry of the future, the levers it represents, as well as the necessary accompanying actions that it requires for the human actors of the company.
