The main goal of this course is to facilitate the management and efficient interactions with intercultural teams or international clients as follows:
DIE method: Make students understand they tend to go to the evaluation rather than take the time to describe and interpret a situation.
Personal reflections on respective individual values, and translation to professional environment. Explanation on how this applies when comparing cultures
DMIS Model: What are the advantages and disadvantages of a specific mindset? How do you react when you are in front of a person who behaves this way? What strategy should you develop when interacting with such a person? Give the mindset a name.
Students will improve their knowledge and comprehension of different cultural fields, as well as develop appropriate skills to enable greater adaptability, flexibility and empathy
Intercultural HR management, intercultural teams, cultural competence, globalization
One case study will be evaluated by small groups during the course.
An individual homework will be finalized two weeks after the end of the course
This course alternates theory and students’ individual growth through case studies and role plays.
