Students will develop their ability to :
- present the current state of their research
- justify and reflect on their research choices (methodological, litterature review, conceptual framework...)
- be exposed to other research strategy than theirs
- share and explain their difficulties as well their as tricks to others.
The programme is designed to help the students to deal with hurdles and develop reflexivity during the research period. Students will learn to present the state (and progress) of their reflections, to discuss their difficulties with peers, and to set up an agenda for progressing.
In this the seminar aims at contributing to two learning goals of the doctoral programme :
Develp advanced theoretical and practical research skills, as to acquire highest level knowledge in a specialized domain
Create knowledge to allow for an original intellectual contribution in a specific research area.
Pass or fail / depending on attendance and preparation of one presentation
One half day is reserved for the input of a guest professor. Two half days are dedicated to the discussion of students' works. The remaining half day is for a discussion on a specific topic chosen by participants.
