Introduction au module

This course will provide the students the basic tools to conduct research in a rigorous way, starting from their opinion on gthe theme, toawrds more reflexive knowledge, through a series of confrontations with the academic literature (and a small scale field study). They will learn how to identify good research questions in the fields of their interest and select and classify the best resources to answer those questions. The class is focused on learning by doing. Students will work in teams with the support of the professor and design a plan for their thesis.

Méthode pédagogique

Over the course of the sessions, students will gradually develop, in groups of three, increasingly comprehensive and refined problem statements and literature reviews. Their work progresses with each session, and students are encouraged to reflect on their progress. This reflection begins with the participants' opinions. These are then compared with research from academic databases, then with the help of AI, then with empirical evidence, and finally with collective discussion. At the same time, contributions are presented on the use of observation, AI and images in research.
